If we have Wi-Fi, we have everything – both at home and at work. However, the business environment and home use have different demands on the technology. Here, with the help of our expert, László Fodor, we show you why it’s not worth trying a home solution in a professional environment. He compares corporate Wi-Fi access points and Wi-Fi routers for home use, highlighting and categorising the key differences.
The Ruckus T670sn is a revolutionary technology that offers outstanding performance in education, hospitality, residential buildings, large public venues, smart cities or logistics warehouses.
An outdoor AP that is faster, more stable and more efficient
The Ruckus T670sn supports Wi-Fi 7 cutting-edge technology so the 320 MHz channels at 6 GHz, the 4K QAM modulation, Multi-Link Operations (MLO) and Punctured Transmission all contribute to a faster, more stable and more efficient connection. This technology is particularly beneficial for those who require a high-performance network for gaming, remote work or smart home systems. It’s also the perfect choice for high-load environments, as this AP delivers outstanding performance in places where many devices are trying to connect at the same time, such as sports stadiums, university campuses or airports. Advanced connectivity capabilities ensure a stable and fast internet connection for all users.
Innovative technology for maximum flexibility and an unrivalled user experience
- High bandwidth seamlessly: the tri-band Wi-Fi 7 provides up to 9.34 Gbps maximum data transfer rates on 2.4 GHz (2×2), 5 GHz (2×2), and 6 GHz (2×2) bands simultaneously. This enables the seamless use of bandwidth-intensive applications such as 4K/8K video streaming, VR/AR solutions and smart devices.
- Maximising 5G: dual-band mode provides higher rates (2×2(2.4 GHz) + 4×4(5 GHz) and increases the 5G capacity available to connected devices, resulting in data transfer rates of up to 6.45 Gbps between clients and the AP.
- Programmable directional antenna: the built-in sector antenna is adjustable between 30° and 120° through software, allowing coverage adapted to the installation environment. This means that at a busy event or factory area, the AP can direct the signal exactly where most devices are connected, thus increasing network efficiency.
- 5 Gbps Ethernet port: built-in 5 Gbps Ethernet connection guarantees multi-gigabit Wi-Fi performance and reliable network connectivity, so data transfer remains fast and continuous even under heavy load.
+ SECURITY
Along with speed and stability, advanced network security is essential: RUCKUS’ exclusive DPSK3 technology combines Dynamic PSK™ and WPA3™ security features, providing advanced encryption and the flexibility of dynamic password management. This means users receive unique, secure access keys that allow them to easily connect to the network without having to worry about unauthorised access.
It features PoH/uPoE/802.3bt/802.3at PoE support, as well as TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot for the highest level of security. Ruckus’ latest outdoor AP unit, the T670sn, will be available in May.
